Overview

Students will have an opportunity to join scientists Dr. Rhian Salmon (IPY Programme Office in London, England) and Dr. Waleed Abadalati (NASA's Cryospheric Sciences Branch at the NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center) on a virtual tour of Earth's polar regions to explore some of the key questions scientists today are trying to answer about how the Earth's poles are changing. There will be ample time for students to ask questions of the featured scientists. Schools can watch the live webstream and submit questions via email! The webcast can be viewed at http://commonsvcg.oar.net/MAGPI (via Quicktime or Windows Media Player). Questions can be emailed to ipy-questions@pobox.upenn.edu.
