Soil Quality, Conservation and Food Production This episode of Feast Or Famine looks into improving soil quality, reducing soil erosion and the impact soil has on feeding the world. This program's objectives are to educate the viewer about the importance of maintaining good soil quality and techniques to preserve topsoil and the impact soil quality has on food production. In this episode Feast Or Famine worked closely with the USDA, the University of Wisconsin Madison, the Center for Global Food Issues, The Rodale Institute and other leading experts to deliver scientifically accurate information about Organic Farming, Conservation Tillage, Buffer Zones and the use of Biotechnology.
